The CL-200 is a specially designed for field termination inspection. The CL series series designed of rugged cast aluminum construction and precision optics. Available in magnification(100x, 160x, 200x, 320x and 400x) with built-in potent laser safety filters (without such protection, users may take dangerous risks), these units are easy to use and are now the preferred inspection tool among fiber optic cable assemblers and trainers.
The CL-200 Fiber Scopes utilizes a white LED for coaxial illumination. Light is introduced into the optical path (axis) so that it comes out the tip of the objective and strikes the sample perpendicular to the fiber end-face. It produces excellent detail of scratches and contamination. For the examination of polish quality, we strongly recommend the CL-Series Fiber Scopes!.
Each unit includes a universal adapter for 2.5mm ferrules which in corporates a "positive grab" mechanism to allow one handed operation. Various adapters are also available.
The CL Series Fiber Scopes are equipped with IR attenuation filters that may help in preventing eye damage in cases of accidental live fiber viewing. The filter we install will provide over 35 dBm of attenuation at 1310nm and 1550nm. In addition, it will provide over 20.5dBm of attenuation at 850nm. 1550nm. For 1310nm and 1550nm laser sources up to +15dBm
