One BRAND NEW Atago MASTER-2alpha (28% to 62% Brix Scale) MASTER-2α is a mid-range (measurement range Brix 28.0 to 62.0%) model of the MASTER-α (0-33% Brix Range). These are convenient for measuring a variety of sauces, soy sauce, seasoning in liquid form as well as for low-sugar jams and spreads. These are an Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) model with water resistant properties (IP65).
The MASTER-2α is made of metal, and the MASTER-2Pα is plastic. The specifications are exactly the same. For salty and acidic samples, choose the plastic body, MASTER-2Pα.
Calibrate once every 30 tests OR 3 months to ensure proper accuracy with the 30% Brix Solution, 40% Brix Solution, 50% Brix Solution or 60% Brix Solutions. Please be sure to wipe of using distilled water to be sure that you get ALL of the residual sugars off the Refractometer!
