One BRAND NEW Atago MASTER-2M (28% to 62% Brix Scale) MASTER-2M / MASTER-2PM are mid-range (measurement range Brix 28.0 to 62.0%) model of the MASTER-M / MASTER-PM. MASTER-2M / MASTER-2PM are the successor model to the conventional N-2E. The MASTER-M series is a good alternative choice when the water resistant feature is not a priority and the Temperature Compensation will be carried out manually. Not equipped with the Automatic Temperature Compensation feature.
The MASTER-2M is made of metal, and the MASTER-2PM is plastic. The specifications are exactly the same. For salty and acidic samples, choose the plastic body, MASTER-2PM.
Calibrate once every 30 tests OR 3 months to ensure proper accuracy with the 30% Brix Solution, 40% Brix Solution, 50% Brix Solution or 60% Brix Solutions. Please be sure to wipe of using distilled water to be sure that you get ALL of the residual sugars off the Refractometer!
