Hanna HI98121 pH ORP Thermo Meter Chlorine HI 98121
Item Description: Hanna Instruments Combo pH, ORP & Thermometer Meter (HI 98121)
- Exclusive easy to replace cartridge stainless steel pH and ORP Electrode.
- Renewable cloth junction. If it becomes dirt simply remove and rejuvenate.
- Automatic temperature compensation
- Automatic calibration
- Direct contact temperature probe.
This HI 98121 meter is designed for simultaneous pH and ORP measurements and also reads temperature, which is continuously displayed on the dual level LCD.
An encapsulated external stainless steel sensor, positioned in close proximity to the pH electrode provides fast response. A fiber junction can be easily pulled out and replenished. And when finally spent, the pH electrode cartridge can be quickly replaced with the supplied electrode removal tool, reducing waste and cost.
HI 98121 works with common batteries and when turned on, displays the percentage of remaining battery life. The stability indicator ensures reliable readings.
Ergonomically designed for ease in handling, this meter will float if inadvertently dropped into water.
HI 98121 is supplied with protective cap, electrode removal tool, batteries and instructions.

Calibration Fluids and Storage Solutions!
Keep your pH Meter in tip-top shape by calibrating periodically! This unit needs a 2-point calibration, so the question is: which buffer solutions do I need? For water based samples, use 7 and 10. For unknown samples use 4 and 10. The key is to steer the units calibration towards the ranges of your samples. Testing acids, use 4 and 7. Testing bases (caustic/alkaline) use 7 and 10. Unknown samples 4 and 10.
